There is now a supply of ‘credit card’ sized holiday cards for 2009-10 available from the school office for just 50p each.

    I have just been advised that school is not open until thursday 3rd September – However the school calendar shows Wednesday 2nd. After looking at your holiday list on this site the 3rd is correct. It will be interesting to see how many other parents like me expect the school to be open on the 2nd! my children would of been sent in

    Many thanks for drawing our attention to this issue.

    Unfortunately, when the school calendars were printed last year, the dates we had were only provisional. Something which was flagged up at the time but WSA wanted to go ahead to get them printed in time for Christmas.

    There is a staff training day on the Wednesday, so we will be on hand if any parents/children turn up.
    Sorry about the confusion, hope it has not caused too many issues.

    Thank you for your reply.
    It is obviously an issue that needs to be resolved prior to next years calendar.
    I have always enjoyed the school calendar and this is the ONLY time that there has been a problem with any dates etc.
